Funding Cost Index

Certain Farm Credit System institutions offer loan products with interest rate calculations based on an estimated Funding Cost Index, documented in the reports below.

The Estimated Cost Indexes reflect the estimated cost (not the actual sale price) for Farm Credit Securities issued into the primary market at approximately 9:30am EST. Rates and spreads are based on ongoing monitoring of the fixed income markets for actual, recent, primary market issuance by Government-Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs) of similar securities.

Maturities represented by the indexes range from overnight to 30 years. Please see the included source notes for more information on how the indexes are derived.
